Immersys is the WAX NFT metaverse poised to permanently alter what it means to own, create, and use NFTs. The interactive virtual world already has 15 NFT creator’s collections to-date inside with more being added every week.
Those lucky enough to have early access inside the Immersys metaverse are seeing new updates and additions being added on a weekly basis.
Here’s a quick rundown of all the different drops and updates that have happened so far in Immersys.
Drops so Far
The Beta Access Cards: The first major Immersys drop were the 100 player beta access cards that allowed exclusive access into Immersys. These 100 players were the first ones to ever explore the metaverse and get a feel for its world of potential. With a waiting list of over 800 people, all 100 player beta access cards were snapped up in just over a second. Players were hungry for this new type of NFT world.
The player beta access cards and creator cards showed how NFTs could act as verifiable login information for users. Users holding these beta access cards are the only ones granted access into Aurora City’s Central Plaza, which is Immersys’ main hub. The VIP and Creator Cards also granted holders access to exclusive areas.
Supporter Pins: After the overwhelming turnout for the Immersys world beta card drop, the Immersys team decided to introduce supporter pins. Supporter pins introduced a new way to use NFTs in the form of wearable cosmetic items for your avatar within Immersys. The pins came in three different tiers, ranging from bronze support to gold support. The pins represent the community’s support for the Immersys project and its development. It also functions as an in-game item that your character can equip to stand out in the virtual world as an original enthusiast for the project.
These pins were created under a different collection, sty.immersys, which is our Immersys style collection and will contain all apparel and fashion for your virtual avatar. These different wearable items can be Immersys issued and in the future, will contain collaborations with other brands.
RobotRC NFTapp: This is where we’re taking it to new heights. One of the main tools in the Immersys world is your personal virtual tablet. This virtual tablet contains applications that allow you to interact with NFTs, the virtual world, and provide additional utility inside the metaverse. Up until now, the virtual tablet contained standard apps, like a camera, a notepad, a web browser, and more.
That’s about to change.
Our next drop — the RobotRC — is a universal remote-controlled app that enables players within Immersys to control robots, with the first edition coming with a virtual drone equipped with a camera. Players who purchase this NFTapp will be the only ones that can use its utility within the metaverse. More types of robots that require this NFTapp will come in later drops. These additional robots will come with additional features, capabilities, and appearances and will have collectability to them.
In the drop on Wednesday, June 2, the Immersys drone will allow players to fly around in-game, take pictures, and explore the Immersys metaverse like never before. The virtual drone will be an NFTapp that you completely own, allowing you to get an entirely new vantage point in Immersys and see things and your NFTs from a new point of view. It will cost 25 WAXP and be available on AtomicHub.
This is the groundwork for what an app store can actually look like. Real application ownership — you own the app in your wallet. It’s verified in the Immersys tablet. It’s laying the groundwork for the future of NFTapps to be created by Immersys and by the community.
